Responsibilities include, but not limited to operation, maintenance, and repair of Water Department infrastructure; performing testing and service calls; and assisting other departments as needed. Applicant must be available to work a scheduled rotation weekend and be on-call, as required; have a minimum of a high school diploma, in possession of Valid Michigan Vehicle Operators License, strong mechanical background, and have strong communication skills. A “S”-Water license will be expected with this position. The City will offer a period of time to acquire the needed license. Full Background Check, Drug Screening, and Physical will be required. This is a union position. Starting pay is $25.91 and after 6 months up to $28.82, along with an excellent benefit package including a 4 Day Workweek. Submit resume to City Clerk, 117 E.
