Otsego Fire Department: Paid on Call Firefighters

Join the City of Otsego Fire Department, a highly trained and skilled team of paid-on call firefighters who operate and respond to approximately 1,400 calls per year. Seeking men and women with diverse skills.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age and a highschool graduate, or possess a GED equivalent
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record
  • No experience necessary
  • Preferred qualifications are Medical First Responder, Fire Fighter I/II, Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must be able to pass a background check, physical agility/wellness assessment, medical evaluation and drug screen.
