The City of Otsego provides 24-hour police coverage to the citizens of Otsego. The hours consist of 12-hour shifts, both days and nights, 5am-5pm, 5pm-5am, along with a swing shift starting between the hours of 1pm-1am.

Help Wanted: City of Otsego Wastewater Treatment Plant Maintenance Worker Position. Responsibilities include, but not limited to operation, maintenance, and repair of the Wastewater Treatment Plant & Lift Stations; performing laboratory testing; and assisting the Water Department as needed. Applicant must be available to work weekends and be on-call, as required; have a minimum of a high school diploma, in possession of Valid Michigan Vehicle Operators License, and have a strong mechanical background. A “D”-Wastewater license will be required with this position. The City will offer a period of time to acquire the needed license. Full Background Check, Drug Screening, and Physical will be required.
