Police Department
The professional group of men and women serving the Otsego community are proud to provide a safe and secure environment for citizens and visitors . The Otsego Police Department provides many law enforcement services to include a community-oriented style of policing.
The law enforcement services are accomplished by actively patrolling the city streets, partnering with our surrounding police agencies, having a dedicated officer in the Otsego Public Schools, and working with the residents on blight issues throughout the city.
The Otsego Police Department responds to approximately 2500-2700 calls for service per year. This does not include the ordinance compliance checks officers work on each and every day to keep our community beautiful.

Traffic Enforcement
Traffic safety is something we take seriously. We are always looking at ways of making Otsego a safer place for our citizens and their children. We have a movable radar trailer that we place in areas of concern throughout the year. If you would like to request the trailer be placed in a certain area to raise speed/speed limit awareness please contact us.
