New Dropbox Coming Soon
The City is in the process of installing a new drop box on the north side of the building – which you will be able to drive up to. This is being installed for the Elections Ballots, as the ballots will not fit in our current small drop box on the side of the building. PLEASE mail your ballots back with the postage paid envelope or wait until the larger drop box is installed. The weather (snow and cold temperatures) is hindering the final placement of the drop box. Ballots can be turned in until 8pm on Election Day.

STATE WIDE BURN BAN
Due to the “stay home, stay safe” executive order, most burn permits are suspended across the state. Burning yard debris is the top cause of wildfires in Michigan. Suspending burn permits reduces the potential for wildfires, which will limit the risk of exposing first responders to coronavirus and make sure trained personnel and equipment are available to assist with COVID-19 response as needed. DNR Michigan.gov
A burn permit is not required for cooking or recreational campfires (contained).
