PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CITY OF OTSEGO RIVERFRONT PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The City of Otsego will hold a Public Hearing to consider a grant application to the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF). The hearing will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Otsego City Hall, 117 E Orleans St, Otsego, MI 49078.
The grant application proposes the installation of all-season bathrooms as well as other improvements at Riverfront Park to enhance accessibility, functionality, and overall park use.
Residents and stakeholders are invited to attend the hearing and provide their input on the proposed project. Feedback from the community will be used to refine the grant application and ensure it aligns with public needs and expectations.

Water Freezing Notice
CITY OF OTSEGO
PUBLIC NOTICE
The City has been diligently watching the depth of the frost in the ground all winter. With the current cold temperatures, we are experiencing, we are receiving many calls regarding credits for running water. At this time, the City is not advising to run your water due to freezing, in regards to the City water mains. If you have had internal freezing issues in the past, such as discoloration of the water, and/or loss of pressure, you then should run a small pencil stream of water if this internal freezing issue occurs. Property owners who experience internal freezing issues, please be advised they are not the responsibility of the City and water credits are only administered when the freezing is related to the City mains, or advised by the City. The City will continue to monitor the depth of the frost and will advise residents of any updates via the Shopper’s Guide, our Website, and Facebook. The public is invited to review the draft City of Otsego 2025–2029 Community Recreation Plan during normal business hours at Otsego City Hall, 117 E Orleans St, Otsego, MI 49078, and online at www.cityofotsego.org. Written comments received through January 19, 2025, will receive responses in the final Five-Year Community Recreation Plan.
