Saturday, November 5, 2022, open from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., for Absentee Voting Purposes Only. If you have a question, please call 692-3391.

Sunday, November 6, 2022 – Closed.

Monday, November 7, 2022 – Regular Hours – No Absentee Ballots Issued after 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 – Election Day!

REMINDER PERMANENT ABSENTEE VOTERS OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO

If you are on the City’s Permanent Absentee Ballot List, you were sent a Dual Application in June 2022. If you did not return your application for November or indicate “both elections”, you will need submit that application or request a new application to receive your Ballot. NOTICE OF ADOPTION – TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF OTSEGO ZONING ORDINANCE

THE OTSEGO CITY COMMISSION AT ITS OCTOBER 3, 2022, REGULAR MEETING, CONSIDERED AND ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT TO THE OTSEGO ZONING ORDINANCE –

SECTION 18.5 SPECIFIC SIGN REQUIREMENTS

A. Electronic Displays –

Removal of:

b. The sign shall only convey a single product or message at any one time.

c. Except for the change from one display to the next, which shall be instantaneous, each individual sign display shall be static. No element of the display may move, flash, change colors, dissolve or scroll, except to change from one display to the next.

d. Displays may change no less than fifteen seconds apart.

e. An electronic display located within 200 feet of an existing residential use may not operate between the hours of 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

g. An electronic display shall use only one (1) color of lighting or bulbs to prevent nuisances and distractions upon adjoining properties and thoroughfares.

PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF OTSEGO RESIDENTS

The City of Otsego Water Department will flush all fire hydrants

October 3rd – October 14th. This is done to remove any stale water that may be in the system and insure that the fire hydrants are working properly. You may experience some reduced pressure and discoloration during this process. If discoloration occurs, let your water run until it clears.
