Hydrant Flush

The City of Otsego Water Department will flush all fire hydrants September 23rd through October 4th. This is done to remove any stale water that may be in the system and insure that the fire hydrants are working properly. You may experience some reduced pressure and discoloration during this process. If discoloration occurs, let your water run until it clears.

Planning Commission Meeting Canceled

Please be advised that the regular meeting of the Planning Commission scheduled for August 26, 2019, has been canceled. Our next Regular Meeting will be held Monday, September 23, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., if needed.

Otsego Fire Department

The Otsego Fire Department will be conducting open interviews and physical agility testing for paid-on-call Firefighter positions on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 beginning at 9AM and 6PM.  Call 269-694-4390 or email dkranz@cityofotsego.org to reserve a time slot.

Walk-ins will also be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Age, residency, and other requirements apply.

Applications may be picked up at City Hall and the Otsego Fire Department during normal business hours or may be downloaded from the city’s website here.  Applications will also be available the day-of on site.

Please take notice that a regular meeting of the Otsego Community Recreation Council will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 6:00 P.M., At Otsego City Hall, 117 E. Orleans St., Otsego, MI.
